Jessica
Alba
 We
all know her as Sue Storm/ The Invisible Woman from Fantastic
Four,
but Jessica Alba's career has been far from invisible.
We first featured Jessica back in October of 2001, back
then she was just becoming an A-list Hollywood, "it-girl".
Over the Years since then the invisible woman she has
certainly not been. Jessica has been visible on thousands
of magazine covers, television appearances, and of course
on the hottest movies time after time.
This
month we can see Jessica in a new role in her first horror
/ thriller film The
Eye.
It's a story of a concert violinist who has been blind
since childhood. When she gets eye surgery frightening
images start to haunt her.
Her
career started off playing super-hero roles and so far
it's been something that been a part of who she is. Her
role as the Invisible Woman in Fantastic Four summer of
2005 and the 2007 sequel Fantastic
Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer,
including the role of Nancy in Sin City.
Superhero
in the making began in
her early twenties, Jessica Alba was putting in 14-hour
days filming Fox's hit show Dark Angel . She played
Max, a genetically engineered soldier. Before starting
the role in 2000, she trained hard for a year, doing three
hours of weight training and cardio a day, while taking
kung fu and gymnastic classes. She also spent many days
in the desert learning to ride dirt bikes and street bikes,
so yes, that really is her riding on the show.
Dark
Angel
earned her a nomination for a Golden Globe in 2001, for
Best Actress in a Dramatic Television Series.
Jessica
had always wanted to be an actress since the age of five.
However, it wasn't until the age of 12 that she took her
first acting lessons and she was then quickly signed by
an agency just a few months later. In 1994, she landed
her first role in Camp Nowhere. She then co-stared
along side Freddie Prince Jr. as his pregnant girlfriend
in a 1996 ABC after school special "Too Soon For
Jeff."
She
went on to appear in commercials for Nintendo and J.C.
Penny, and a reoccurring role in Nickelodeon's The
Secret World of Alex Mac , including the series Flipper.
However, it was in 1998 she Jessica got her taste of teen
queen stardom, playing the role of a teen mother in a
few episodes of the hit show Beverly Hills 90210.
She
landed a role in 1999's Never Been Kissed and not long
after auditioned for the show Dark Angel. She went on
to win the TV Guide's 2001 Breakout Star of the Year Award
for her work in Dark Angel.
Jessica
has been on the covers of countless magazines since staring
as Max from Dark Angel. She has been on all the major
late night talk shows, she's also one the most popular
celebrities on the internet, and has been a spokesmodel
for L'oreal
cosmetics.
Along
with her super-hero blockbuster movie Fantastic
Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer,
she also co-stared with Dane Cook in the comedy
Good
Luck Chuck .
Jessica played a klutzy dorky penguin specialist, it was
her first comedy film and something she has always wanted
to do. After her first comedy She did her first scary
thriller The
Eye.
Last
spring of 2008 She gave birth to her first child, a daughter
with husband Cash Warren. The couple has been a paparazzi
since then with the boom of hollywood babys last year.
Jessica
is not only beauty but brains as well she graduated highschool
early at the age of 16. She said, "If your happy that's
all that matters." She never really clicked with
people in school. She has said "I never really
fit in with the preppy girls and I stayed away from the
hardcore drug addicts, and I'm not the latina mexican
chola girl." She's just herself -
