Sandra Bullock was born in Arlington, Virginia. Her late mother was a famous German opera singer and her father is a voice coach from Alabama. Sandra was raised in Germany until the age of 13 then the family moved backed to Virginia where Sandra became a typical popular high school cheerleader. In 1982 she graduated from Washington-Lee High School, where she was voted "The girl most likely to brighten up your day" She then went on to majored in Drama at East Carolina University in North Carolina. After brief stint of college she moved to New York to pursue a career in acting.

When starting out in New York she took the typical struggling actress jobs such as
waitresing and coat-checkgirl. After many and many of auditions she landed her first acting job on a television show called "Working Girl."

After the show Working Girl was cancelled she moved to L.A. to try working on films. She did small television roles but her first big screen acting role was in the in 1992 movie entitled Love Potion No. 9. The follow year was a better year for Sandra she landed five film roles in 1993. Her biggest film of that year she co-stared with Sylvester Stallone in the movie Demolition Man. Even though she didn't play a major role in demolition man, it was a huge stepping stone for her, and in 1994 for she was given the female lead role alongside Keanu Reeves in that summers block buster hit SPEED. The movie SPEED launched her career in into the main stream as a top actress and Sandra's popularity grew as she was then earned the title america's sweetheart.

Sandra went to movies star in such movies as While You Were Sleeping and A Time To Kill. However, Sandra just didn't want to be behind the camera, in 1996 she started her own production company called Fortis Films. Her first project was Hope Floats, which received acclaim reviews.

Sandra then went on to movies such as Forces of Nature, 28 Days, Miss Congeniality 1 and 2, Murder By Numbers, and the 2002 hit movie among female viewers Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood , and Two Weeks Notice. Last year she acted in the award winning movie Crash. Her newest film The Lake House which she co-stars with Keanu Reeves is getting raved reviews and is one of her best movies to date.

In addition to Sandra's list of movie credits she has also produced the last couple of films, and that just doesn't stop there. She is an executive producer of ABC's George Lopez show, the first successful TV sitcom about a Latino family.

Sandra is well known for her movies but she has also become a popular glamour queen as well. Not only has she appeared in many entertainment magazines, Sandra has also been known to show a more glamorous sexy side than just the girl next door. She has been a cover model for countless fashion magazines over the years and done appearances on the VH1 Fashion awards. She is also known the hang with the fashion crowd showing up at runway shows here and there.

She married Jesse James, owner of west coast choppers, and he also has his own hit show monster gaurage.
