Liv
Tyler began modeling at the age of 14. One of the
original supermodels from the 80's Paulina Porizkova ,
was a family friend and took notice of Liv's beauty. So
soon after encouragement from Paulina, Liv decided to
give the modeling industry a try. Then shortly after the
five-foot-ten Liv, began appeared on such fashion magazines
as Mirabella and Seventeen.
The
modeling industry was not all that new to Liv. Her mother
is Bebe Buell, a former Ford model and Playboy Playmate
from the 70's. However, her mother is not the only famed
parent in Liv's life.
Liv
grew up thinking that her mothers long-term boyfriend
,rock musician Todd Rundgren, was her father. Then at
an Aerosmith concert Liv met lead singer Steven Tylers
daughter back stage. She was amazed how much Steven's
daughter Mia resembled her, it was as if they were twins.
So, Liv confronted her mother and found out at the age
of 10 that famous Rock star Steven Tyler was her true
father.
So
after changing her last name to Tyler, Liv continued modeling
, However it was on the set for a commercial that she
decided she wanted to start acting.
In
1994 Liv appeared in her first movie titled Silent
Fall . Then she went on to do such movies as, Empire
Records, That Thing You Do!, Stealing Beauty, Armageddon
, and One Night at McCool's.
Liv
also known through out the world for her role as Arwen,
the immortal elf princess in the blockbuster The
Lord of the Rings
trilogy. Her latest soon to be released movie is titled
Jersey
Girl,
Liv plays the role as a video store clerk who helps Ben
Affleck move on and find love again after the death of
his wife played by Jennifer Lopez.
Liv has not only been busy working on her new films, she
has still continued with her modeling career as well.
She has recently been choosen to be the new face of legendary
French design house Givenchy, this a huge accomplishment
in the fashion industry, she is to follow in the steps
once filled by Audrey Hepburn. The new ad campaigns "Very
Irresistible Givenchy" can be seen in magazines and
on TV commercials.
At
26, Liv Tyler is keeping busy with new husband, British
musician Royston Langdon, her acting career, and her modeling
career. She is yet another talent supermodel that can
prove beauty and talent can do it all.
