people certainly have a style and flare of their own. Well,
Angelina Jolie is all original. With her exotic looks, love
of tattoos, and fav color of black, Angelina isn't your
plain ol' superstar.
Angelina
was born in 1975, daughter of famous actor father Jon
Voight. Her parents divorced when she was just and baby
, so she spent most of her childhood life being raise
by her mother.
She
began studying acting at Lee Strasberg Theater Institute
at the age of 11. However, years later she made a career
change into the world of modeling. At 16 years old, Angelina
step into the life of a professional model and she was
soon off traveling the world. Her travels eventually lead
to a stop in New York where she entered film studies at
New York University.
Angelina
went on to appear in music videos for Lenny Kravitz, Meatloaf,
and the Rolling Stones. She moved back to her birth place
of Los Angeles and soon began landing several different
acting parts on the bigscreen. Angelina continued working
on film and television. However, it was HBO film Gia,
where Angelina truly began to shine as a superstar. She
played the part of the original 70's supermodel Gia Carangi.
It was an amazing performance of the actress/model, her
portrayal of the famous 70's supermodel was stunning.
The film won Angelina a golden globe and a Emmy nomination.
Since then she has acted in many other films. Another
huge success was the film Girl Interrupted, which
she won another Golden Globe and first time Oscar.
Angelina
continues to shine as a superstar with many top movies
since Gia. In her latest film, the sequel to the smash
hit Tomb Raider, the new film is titled Lara
Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life 2003, she stars
once again as the lead character Laura Croft, the
video game supermodel that has appeared on more magazine
covers than any other non human character in magazine
history.
