Jennifer
first hit the main stream spotlight when she played the
lead role in the movie Selena which earned her a
Golden Globe Best Actress nomination.
J.Lo, at a young age always knew she wanted to be a performer.
She began her career as a dancer in stage musicals and
few music videos. However, it wasn't until she was chosen
as a "fly girl" dancer for Fox's In Livin Color that
she got a taste of Hollywood.
After a few seasons of In Livin Color, Jennifer
decided she wanted to make change to give acting a try.
She did a few television shows however it wasn't until
1995 when she appeared in the film Mi Familia that
Hollywood started to take notice of her acting abilities.
Since her role in Mi Familia she has also appeared in
such movies as Jack , Money Train, Selena, Anaconda,
Out of Sight, The
Cell,
The
Wedding Planner,
Angel
Eyes, and Enough
.Her newest movie Maid
in Manhattan opens this December
13th and is sure to be a number hit at the box office.
However, acting is not the only thing Jennifer has going
on with her life. She has also been very busy musically
since the launch of her 5x platinum Latin music pop
album On the 6th released in June 1999.
A couple years later in July of 2001, Jennifer followed
the success of On the 6th with her second Cd
titled
J.LO, which
also spawned some number one equally impressive hits.
This past November on the 26 she released her 3rd music
CD titled This is Me... Then.
Jennifer has just recently got engage to hollywood movie
star Ben Aftfeck and not only has Jennifer been keeping
busy with the acting, dancing, new music cd, and a up
coming number 1 new movie, she has that whole beauty thing
going on. In 1997 Jennifer was named as People magazine's
Fifty Most Beautiful People. She has appeared on the cover
of dozen of fashion magazines over the past years and
spokemodel for
L'oreal cosmetics
on commercials and print ads.
Take all this acting / musical / dancing / beauty / talent
and combine it all together and you have a woman that
can do it all.
