Working three jobs after graduating from college to pay for acting lessons, Lucy's first television appearance was a waitress at the Peach Pit in the TV show Beverly Hills 90210, 1991. Years after 90210 she appeared on popular shows such as ER, Coach , and the X-Files.

As she ventured to the big screen her first job on a hit movie was very brief as one of Jerry Maguire's ex-girlfriends staring Tom Cruise in 1995.

Lucy's big break came in 1998 when she read for the role as Nelle Porter on Fox's hit TV show Ally Mcbeal. Lucy's acting as strong woman and snappish bitchy on-screen presence was way to much for the character Nelle. However, she brought such a flare to the character that the producer-writer created the character Ling Woo. 

Since the Ally Mcbeal show Lucy has done a few other movies on the big screen. Her latest movie is the mega huge Charlies Angels. Lucy join the cast three month late but her intensive training for the film was not too difficult being that she is a advid rock climber, skier, horseback rider and martial-arts expert.
