making this a milestone as her first American cover
of what is sure to be many more to come.
Last
year we said Joan Smalls was making waves as the
newest supermodel and we are more than thrilled
that W magazine recognizes her as the next-gen supermodel
too, in the "Super Modern Supermodels"
editorial with Karlie Kloss.
The
double cover for W this July with Joan Smalls, photographed
by Steven Meisel is easily one of our fave covers
this summer. Now
if we can just get our eyes on that behind the scene
video shoot of Joan Smalls salsa dancing on the
set.
